In a bizarre twist of fate, the fish "S" finds itself in a real predicament when a mysterious malfunction transforms it into a human. Suddenly aware of its new physical form, it realizes it is trapped in Syria. The fish embarks on a journey to explore a city that seems uninhabitable—even for a fish.

As it struggles to survive, the fish gradually becomes just another Syrian citizen, forced to adapt to the toxic rhythms of life under Assad’s rule. Filmed at a time when surrealism was our only means of expression, the film uses absurdity to expose a reality we could no longer process.
